In creating this website, we wanted to provide an easy and user-friendly way for film enthusiasts to discover movies from across the globe. While there are many famous foreign films which have been popular in the U.S., there are so many countries also producing films which typically never reach American audiences. By finding a single notable film from each country in the world, we hope to foster an appreciation not only for foreign film, but also for different cultures and people as well. Film, after all, is an art form and therefore a means of self-expression; we hope that your horizons will be broadened at least a little bit through discovering and experiencing the expression of each country’s individual self.
